RT5752采用改进型固定导通时间（ACOT®）控制架构，无需外部补偿元件而具有超快速的瞬态响应，在整个输入、负载和输出电压范围内都具有几乎恒定的工作频率。在轻载条件下，RT5752A 自动以 PSM 模式工作以维持高转换效率，RT5752B 则工作于强制 PWM 模式以满足应用对精确输出电压调节的需求。
RT5752对上下桥开关流过的电流都进行检测以实施严格的过流保护，每个周期都进行的过流保护可防止器件输出端短路、过流或电感饱和可能对器件造成的严重伤害，内建的软启动功能可避免在启动期间造成电流冲击，还具有输入欠压锁定保护、输出欠压保护/过压保护（RT5752AL/BL）和过热保护等完善的保护功能，确保其可在各种工作条件下的安全和平稳的运行。
